Il sito del NME ha annunciato le nomination per i Shockwaves NME Awards 2009. Gli Oasis appaiono in 7 categorie inclusa Best British Band, Best Live Band e Best Album per ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ con anche una nomination quale Worst Band.

A proposito della 7 nomination ai NmeAwards, Noel Gallagher ha detto: “Sette nomination, dici? E’ tutto qui? Ho sempre saputo che sarebbe arrivato il mio tempo per essere nella categoria Best Dressed Man In The World“.

I vincitori saranno annunciati alla cerimonia di premiazione che si terrà alla Brixton Academy di Londra il 25 febbraio 2009.
